Most drive on a car licence — the NQR & FRR need a Medium Rigid

The 3T Pantech, 6-Pallet Curtainsider, Toyota HiAce SLWB and Hino Hybrid 300 all have a GVM at or below 4,500 kg, so an Open class C car licence (or Green P-plate) is all you need — international licences accepted too. The bigger Isuzu NQR 88-190 (8,800 kg GVM) and Isuzu FRR 110-240 (11,000 kg GVM) each require a Medium Rigid (MR) licence.

The Easy fleet spans six vehicles: the brand-new Pantech 3T (20m³, automatic, 750kg electric tailgate, car licence), a Toyota HiAce SLWB cargo van for smaller loads, a 6-pallet curtainsider, the fuel-efficient Hino Hybrid, and two larger curtainsiders for heavier freight — the 8-pallet Isuzu NQR 88-190 and the 10-pallet Isuzu FRR 110-240 (both require a Medium Rigid licence).

Are the hire trucks automatic and easy to drive?

Yes, most of them. The Pantech, HiAce van, 6-pallet curtainsider and Hino Hybrid are all automatic and drivable on a standard car licence — no clutch, no learning curve. The two larger curtainsiders, the Isuzu NQR and FRR, are automated-manual and require a Medium Rigid (MR) licence. Complimentary 24-hour breakdown assistance is included with every hire.
